Through innovation, a balance of theory and practice, appreciation for diversity, community
engagement, integrity, and accountability, we strive to remain a valued community of scholars in which
students are engaged in diverse learning experiences with faculty who are devoted to student success
and technical achievement. Our contemporary curricula, engaging pedagogy, impactful scholarship,
and applied research allow our College to continue to produce exceptional career-ready graduates who
are prepared for a lifetime of professional achievement and intellectual growth. More than ever before,
industry recruiters see our College of Engineering and Computer Science as a source of employee talent
throughout the state.
Annually, the College of Engineering and Computer Science graduates nearly 1,000 career-ready leaders
who are prepared to deliver practical solutions for society’s problems. Our College has an enrollment
of almost 5,000 students, of whom approximately 10% are graduate students. Engaging these students
are over 60 full-time, tenure-track professors who are leaders in their field of expertise and supported
by a dedicated staff of professionals. The College of Engineering and Computer Science offers six fully
accredited bachelor’s degree programs: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Construction Management, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. At
the graduate level, we offer five master’s degree programs: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
