Congratulations! You now belong to the Sacramento State alumni family. As your “Hornet Connection for
Life,” your Alumni Association provides resources, discounts, and programming to help you make the most of
the alumni network. Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions:
When will I receive my diploma?
Diplomas will be mailed to the address on file approximately three to four months after degree conferral,
which follows final confirmation of grades and completion of your degree program. Please ensure that you
update your address with Sacramento State, either through the My Sac State portal or through the Alumni
Association’s homepage at SacStateAlumni.com.
How do I request my transcripts?
Transcripts must be requested in person, by mail (student’s signature required), or online (for an additional
fee). Orders are not accepted by telephone, fax, or email. When ordering transcripts in person, please be sure
to bring your photo ID. Visit csus.edu/student-life/records-transcripts/transcripts/.
Am I still eligible to use the Career Center?
Graduates continue to have access to the Career Center after graduation. You will find workshops and career
fairs listed on the alumni events page at SacStateAlumni.com and the full services of the Career Center at
csus.edu/careercenter.
I am a new graduate. How do I join the Alumni Association?
Visit SacStateAlumni.com, stop by the Harper Alumni Center, or look for Alumni Association representatives at
most major Sacramento State events. As a new grad, there is no cost to become a member and being an active
member is a great way to show you are #HornetProud. There is no better time to get involved! Claim your
membership at SacStateAlumni.com.
